The Ford Bronco Is Coming Back in 2020

Ford is continuing its legacy of forward-thinking innovation by bringing back an old favorite – the Ford Bronco! But the 2020 Ford Bronco will be an all-new vehicle. Much like the Jeep Wrangler, the new Bronco will be a heavy-duty, body-on-frame four-wheel drive SUV designed to tackle some of the toughest terrains. Drivers in the Marquette and Gwinn, MI areas who like to go off-roading will like that the new Bronco will come with features like solid front and rear axles, and an "Air Roof."

The new Bronco is expected to share its frame with the Ford Ranger pickup, which was released earlier this year. With the F-150 switching over to an aluminum body for 2018, it’s likely the Bronco will do the same in order to keep it lighter and more efficient. You can expect the 2020 Bronco to look a lot like a modern take on the original Bronco design, and somewhat boxy-shaped. The Bronco may also come in short- and long-wheelbase forms to accommodate two- and four-door versions.

The 2020 Ford Bronco is projected to have a turbo-four EcoBoost engine under the hood that’ll crank out 325 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. It will probably also have a 10-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive will likely be standard, but four-wheel drive will certainly be an option. A locking rear differential is almost a guarantee, and a limited-slip front differential should make it capable of traversing rough trails. People in the Ishpeming and Negaunee areas will appreciate that the new Bronco will have a variety of off-road modes to power through all kinds of surfaces, like mud, snow, rocks, or sand. It is anticipated that Ford will also build a smaller Bronco model that’ll be based on the framework of the Ford Escape. The 2020 Ford Bronco is not available yet, but Fox Marquette has a wide selection of new Ford cars, trucks, and SUVs in our vast inventory. Visit us and experience Ford quality firsthand.
