It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to a member of our Fox Marquette Family. Ray Stanaway, who worked in our parts department for the last 10 years, passed away September 26th. We would like to honor Ray's memory by sharing a few words from his closest coworkers.
"I worked with him for 10 years delivering parts side by side. He was my right-hand man and I was his left-hand man. He was a good guy. He will be missed." - Joe O'Connell, Parts Associate.
Ray was one of the best guys I have worked with in my 40 years in the business. When you needed the part no one could find, Ray would find it. There are many repair facilities in and around Marquette that would only call Ray and he never let them down. We are proud to have had him on our team and we will all miss him." Randy Norton, General Manager
"Ray Stanaway was a pleasure to work with. Ray had a lot of experience in our parts department and he could answer every question. Ray was a lot of fun to talk NASCAR with, especially who was going to win that week. Ray will be missed by all at Fox Marquette," Marty Rose, Brand Manager
"Ray was a great friend, better yet, more like family. On Friday's we would buy lunch and a lot of time other people would join in too. It was like our weekly ritual. He is a great loss to our dealership and we have some big shoes to fill. Gone but NEVER forgotten. See ya!" -Adrienne Mineau, Warranty Administrator
"Ray was a very special person and a good friend. I will miss him." - Tom Nancarrow, Sales Consultant
"Ray was a great guy and will be missed by so many. I could always go to him with a parts dilemma and he always had the answer. I'm glad I could call him a friend and a coworker." -Jessica Young, Customer Experience Advisor
"He was one of the best people I have ever worked with. He was kind and understanding with a great sense of humor. I will really miss him." -Mike Quinn, Shuttle Driver
"Ray was always a pleasure to work with. He had a very uplifting personality and I felt like I could always talk to him and joke with him at any given time. What really stuck out, was the fact that he was ALWAYS determined and willing to help others when they came in for parts. He was very good at what he did. Ray, overall, was just a great person in general. Once you met Ray, you instantly liked him," -Nik Anderson, Service Technician.
Ray will be sincerly missed by all of us at Fox Marquette.
"There are special people in our lives who never leave us...Even after they are gone." -D. Morgan
